The Role

 

As a Handover Coordinator here at MAG you will work alongside the Handover Lead to lead, manage and administer the delivery of the handover process to successfully integrate the newly created assets delivered by the Manchester Transformation Programme (MAN TP) workstreams. You will develop robust working relationships with relevant stakeholders and 3rd party contractors, taking responsibility for designing processes and methods within the Handover Process to improve efficiency for all parties.

 

Other accountabilities include:

 

  • To assist Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, 3rd party contractors, and internal stakeholders, manage a portfolio of software packages that support asset integration.
  • Compile and manage minutes, action trackers, sharepoint sites, electronic drawings, information and all ancillary information relating to the handover process.
  • Monitoring and reporting of any gaps in handover information for particular assets
  • Tracking progress of handover documents, progress of sign off of forms, ensuring a register of documents for signature is maintained and chased through to sign off.
  • Creation and management of a Handover performance dashboard.
  • Ensuring cost effective processes and systems are in place to achieve best value for MAG
  • Develop and maintain monitoring techniques that ensure all partners meet their contractual obligations and any statutory compliance requirements to integrate assets.

 

What will make you successful in this role?

 

You will be an experienced administrator with a background in reviewing complex documents and reading and interpreting complex information, drawings, manuals and processes. You will have excellent customer service skills as well as good influencing and negotiating skills to motivate multidisciplinary networks to work towards a common goal. You’ll have the ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
